Crafts of Lorraine
The original Ordre du Lévrier Blanc (White Greyhound) was founded by the Cardinal-Duke of Bar.
His daughter (Duchess in her own right) married into the royal House of Anjou and her son became known as the Good King René. He, in turn, married the Duchess of Lorraine thus combining the Duchies of Lorraine and Bar.
We have chosen this area, not only because we are based there, but also because it well illustrates how a region usually associated with industry is really rich in craftsmen. Many of these are not finding life easy.
